Doves Rest Cabins – SkyHouse hosted U.S. Senator John Cornyn and his wife while they were on official business in the Texas Panhandle Region. The layout of SkyHouse Cabin combined with ChairLift Cabin close proximity provided great security and seclusion for the Senators visit according to Garrett Ruskin, Special Agent for the U.S. Capitol Police Department.
